Before I moved to Garstang to live I managed a before school, afterschool & holiday club for about 8 years. I have been Breakfast Club Supervisor at Garstang Community Primary School since 2010, also working in the After School Club.
My interest’s are travelling, walking my dog & watching football.
I have worked in childcare since 1994 when I started at Cabus Nursery. I then moved to St Thomas’ Pre School and then Forton Pre School.
I have been the Supervisor at Garstang Community Primary After School club since 2003.
My hobbies & interests are walking, pilates, watching football & reading.
I have worked at Garstang Community Primary since 2001. I work at the after school club two days a week. I also work at Garstang Community Academy as a teaching assistant. I love my job, every day is different, and can’t imagine doing anything else.
I have two wonderful children, Mollie and Harvey, who take up most of the rest of my time, but I love to read, go to the cinema, restaurants and concerts.

I began work at Garstang Community Primary after school club and the Breakfast club, as Deputy supervisor in 2010. Qualifications include NVQ Level 3 in Playwork and Paediatric First Aid.
I am also a qualified Early Years Practitioner (level 3) and have worked at Rainbow Preschool in Garstang since 2006.
Previous to 2006 my background was in art and design and I have an interest in anything creative so love working on crafts and art projects with the children.
BA (Hons) Children & Young People's Learning & Development
I studied at Runshaw College and achieved NVQ level 3 Children and Young People’s Learning and Development. I then went to Edge Hill University and graduated with a first class degree – BA (Hons) in the same. I am now studying towards a Masters Degree in Education at Manchester Metropolitan University.
In the future I would like to work within the field of education, In my spare time I enjoy going shopping with my friends, and taking part in sports including running and netball.
